Biotin... ?

I've added Biotin to my regimen of Zinc, Magnesium, Fish Oil and B5 and all I can say about it is:
Why?
I thought it would help my overzealous sebum secretion, but it does nothing. I've been on it for around four days now and I haven't noticed a single thing. Still as greasy as ever. Should I just drop it once I deplete the box?

It helps assimilate protein during the digestive process
