Supplements storage

I've been storing my supplements in my kitchen cabinet, i bought over a thousand euro's worth of pills and powders and they have been sitting there for a year now.
So recently i bought one of these radiation measuring devices, and when i held it near my supplements the radiation numbers skyrocketed. It went even higher than when i hold it against my laptop or my electrical cooking stove.
Next to the supplements there is the extractor hood and i did not know it caused such radiation, even when it's turned off.
Has this radiation an effect my supplements?
I buy my supplements from the US and have them ship to Europe and i know they get radiation during shipment too, but that's only a short exposure period...now they have been exposed for a year in my kitchen...

Any thoughts?, i couldn't find any info onine.

Years ago I heard about a lot of food being irradiated. Have you tested food also?

Had heard that when food is transported it is often irradiated. I guess the question is, does this happen with
supplements also?

Interesting. Why does food need to be irradiated though? Isn't that a bad thing.

Not sure what to do, the supplements have been laying one inch from that extractor hood for a whole year...and that spot has the highest radiation of anything in my house. I spend a thousand euro's on these supplements...i think i'll take my chance and keep taking them.
It's a lot of money for me and throwing it away seems insane. Of all the places in my house, i stored them in the one place where i shouldn't have.

I wouldn't worry about it. Probably the worst thing that could happen if you consumed those supplements is that you might glow in the dark for a while.

To ease your mind, would suggest taking iodine on the regular. I do a lot of it....especially because I'm probably getting a steady stream of radiation from the Fukushima disaster that's traveling all the way to the states.
