Beta Sitosterol

I was looking at the mpb research website and decided to give the natural prostate formula a look. what is your opinion of beta sitosterol and there effectiveness? I was thinking about adding it to my regime which consists of the top 3. anyone find any success with the addition of a beta sitosterol? and if i had sides with propecia, does that mean that i will get sides from this prostate formula??

In my experience beta sitosterol can come with side effects similar to propecia. I like it's use topically.

I started taking beta-sitosterol when I dropped propecia... but I've never had any obvious issues with either of then.

I agree, Beta-Sitosterol taken internally is similar to Propecia especially at high doses.

I will start to take Prostate 5LX by New Chapter soon, as part of my new regimen (this contains also 5LOX modulators and strong antioxidants). I would advise against taking high doses of pure beta sitosterol, like some guys have been doing (check HairSite forums). So Saw palmetto is probably more than OK for the vast majority.

You can probably attribute an elevated libido to your use of nettles (rather than beta sitosterol), which I have read increases testosterone in the body. Some weightlifters swear by it.

is there a way to reduce sides of a beta sit? would 7-hmr or natural estrogen help with this?

I'm 24 years old and I was recomended to take Beta sisterol when starting my regime should I take it topically or orally I have thinng on the top of my head and the crown

How does a person go about taking beta-sis topically? Just grind it up (if so, recommend a method maybe?) and put it in a good natural shampoo? At what amount per bottle?

If you take beta sitosterol take 125mg per day, mcg or whatever that dose it

the higher doses some guys have oily scalp and itching

I have this Betasitosterol product which is based on soy.
(i did not know this when i purchased it at swanson)

But i really cannot stand soy. (isoflavones and soy products make my intestines go crazy)
would there be any soy particles left in such a betositosterol product?

Any updates here? I started as well with LE's Ultra Natural Prostate one / day. Have any of you experienced increased shedding on it?

I also started beta-sitosterol and don't have seen any side effect till now..

Webmd has a pretty good synopsis of beta-sitosterol and the two interactions it has are not dangerous, they just reduce the effect. I'd recommend reading Prostate supplement reviews because it contains some of the highest and most effective doses of beta-sitostero.
