I lost a good amount of hair on my hair line but lately I'm confident I can get it back to the level when I was in highschool. Every month I bring it down and see new hairs. Its almost at HS level but I will keep going . Anyway enough about that , here are my tips if someone is interested.

1) Scalp peeling: I like the one from Scalp Systems https://www.facebook.com/Scalp-Systems-1042099349171931/

2) The brush I like (for hairline) I also got from Scalp Systems. Its kinda like a toothbrush

3) Scritching. Buy a good scritcher that is as fine as possible. Don't over do it. When you over brush or over scritch, the scalp goes into defense mode . You need to give it some breaks to go into regrowth mode. For this reason I don't recommend brushing or scritching every single day and not too rigorously

4) Scalp massage. The key to regrowing is not just massaging the area where the hair loss occurred, I made that mistake for a while. You need to massage the sides and bottom all around the scalp. This loosens it better everywhere and promotes regrowth

5) Ice cold showers. They seem to "shock" new hairs into growth but only if the terrain allows for that (loose scalp, exfoliated scalp, healthy scalp)

Good luck to anyone who tries this. I gain nothing by posting it here I just wanted to pass on what worked for me. No, I don't know the cure for hair loss or know how to regrow or thicken hair everywhere. But these techniques work quite amazing for regrowing the hairline. Just keep doing it and every month and year you will notice improvement. You will be going in the right direction instead of down. It wont happen over night but you will see obvious progress continually so you will have no doubt it works.

Hi

For #3, I've read about this, but there don't seem to be really good instructions anywhere.  Can I use just a regular comb?  I didn't know they sold scritchers, I thought everyone just used combs for this. Also I have a boar bristle brush I brush my scalp (and, by extension, hair) with every day pretty hard.  The way I understand it is that you place the comb flat against your scalp and just move it side to side (basically scratching)?

scritching isn't a comb.

longhairs website sells them but the fine/smallest ones are best
