Off topic: Crohn's (PLEASE HELP!)
Posted a thread about a week ago that my wife has colitis. Turns out she officially has moderate Crohn's (thankfully not chronic.)
I have no idea about this disease and it pains me to see my wife in such pain. I want to take it out of her and beat the shit out of this disease, but alas, nothing I can do. I have heard many diets such as raw veganism works, but her doctor said she can eat everything. He is an absolute crock of shit not to tell her not to eat white table sugar or fried food, but I digress.
Please tell me what foods would absolutely NOT be good for her and what would be. It seems everything she tries gives her pain.
Much thanks.

I have heard juicing helps, but the doctor told her she shouldn't have things that are fibrous.
EDIT: CS, would love your input whenever you get time. Thanks.

Awesome, thanks, CS.
Unfortunately, I tried to talk to her about yeast overgrowth and she wants to dismiss me immediately because 'You're not a doctor, I trust the doctor.'
I'm ready to wring that doctor's neck.

change to a different doc than
maybe find a good doctor and take her there
there seems to be a connection between mycobacterium avium paratuberculosis (MAP) and crohns, yeast overgrowth might be contributory but dont think its causative in crohns

Re: Off topic: Crohn's (PLEASE HELP!)
To be clear you can tell her that Crohn’s disease is not easy to diagnosis, so to help rule it out, the "yeast overgrowth is a way to do this."
One potential link already mentioned is something similar to Johne's disease (a similar thing that cows get that is like Crohn's)
Johne's disease and paratuberculosis are two names for the same animal disease.
