CS and others - can you take a look at this regimen I found on a different site (Crohns related, again).
I have a few threads on here about my Crohns. I've been fortunate enough to get some fantastic advise from so many of you. I'm back, again. My last effort involved trying the GAPS diet, which went fantastic until it didn't. I started the diet while I was on vacation from school (Jan 1st). College started back up again, and then shit hit the fan. I didn't break the diet, per se, or at least I wasn't trying too. I started running low on funds (again, college student) and then out of nowhere I my digestive system got completely blocked. Literally nothing was coming out of my body for 5 days. It was terrible. I had to use ducolax, and that eventually fixed it, or so I thought. About 3 days after I stopped using it, boom - totally blocked up again. I started taking this natural 'colon clense' that is keeping me going, but .. I'm nowhere near where I want to be.
That is where I came across this program. It makes sense in my mind, but I just ... I don't have the education to truly understand if it is legit. Here is the link. http://liftingtones.com/category/crohns-disease/
Can someone, or multiple people look that over for me?
As for my diet, I have kept gluten free since Jan. 1st. Mostly diary free / sugar free as well. Lots of chicken / meat, soups, fruits, and vegetable. I'm doing my best in that regard.
Thanks in advanced for the help, again.

It's clear that no one diet is correct for everyone. The problem with Gaps diet is that the author is blindly strict about it. When authors begin with blanket statements such as, "no supplements" should be taken, it's a red flag.
For example, with respect to gut integrity and IBS, magnesium along with vitamin C and MSM is a nice trifecta to keep things rolling along (peristalsis). Magnesium is especially important to keep things moving and nothing in the Gaps diet is going to supply enough of it to overcome a deficiency which is all too common today.
Some causes of poor peristalsis are:
Anti-nausea medications
Magnesium shortage (common in Crohn's)
Bacterial overgrowth syndrome
Codeine
Duodenal atresia
Mineral deficiencies
Necrotising enterocolitis
Paralytic ileus
