Libido increase from IH regimen?
Been on the entire IH regimen since March. I am 25 and recently I have been hornier than a fucking teenager. Just had a wet dream last night and I almost want to have sex every night with my girlfriend. She is worried for me that I'm taking too many pills, but I tell her it is alright and it is all natural stuff. Thanks.

Yes, it's a "problem" but a sign of good health. I wish there was a way to boost their (female) desire without having to tell them to take a pill (because they'll ask why).

A sign of good health? Does this mean I'm on the right path to getting my hair back? Is there anyway to get my girlfriend to have an increased libido? She is on the pill so I'm not sure if that fluctuates her hormones.CausticSymmetry wrote:Growdamnit wrote:Been on the entire IH regimen since March. Re: Libido increase from IH regimen?
Growdamnit - I couldn't say, however for health is it a clear indication that something good is happening.
Regarding "the pill" it's a real disaster sometimes.
In the USA for example, the printed insert doesn't even admit the lowering of libido side-effect. Believe it or not, it has not been studied domestically.
Probably (a rough guess) is that about 40% of women will lessen their desire. I've had the GF's with this problem (bad memories).
There are ways to boost sexual desire in women, although with "the pill" it can be more difficult, because the competing synthetic estrogen and/or progestin (progesterone) do not work in the human body the way they should. Hormones are supposed to be messengers with split section instructions. Making them synthetic changes the structure (think patents on why they do this), the problem is the kick can't kick these things out very easily and the bad instructions continue for too long (this is why there's cancer risks (proliferation) and thrombotic risks (clotting risks).
if they are not using birth control, here is a way to boost the female libido - A special type of Nettle root extract
Note that most forms of nettle do not work for this because they use different extraction methods and parts.
So, Here is a Polish article with more of the truth about "the pill" It's not good news

Abstract
The first hormonal pill was approved in the 60s of the twentieth century Since that time, oral contraception has been used worldwide by dozens of women due to its high availability as well as relative ease and safety of taking. The main side effects of oral contraception include elevated risk for venous thromboembolism (VTE). Estrogens increase the probability of VTE development, depending on the dose in medication, and third-generation progestins increase the risk of VTE development more than older-generation progestins. Also, the coexistence of hereditary thrombophilia increases the risk of VTE development in women using oral contraceptives. Other side effects include changes in the carbohydrate and lipid economy Progestins in oral contraceptives decrease HDL cholesterol levels but increase LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol levels. Additionally estrogens are a recognized mitogenic factor for the epithelium of the mammary gland, acting proliferative on the glandular tissue and in the same way influence on the increased risk of breast cancer development. Patients sometimes complain about some subjective side symptoms such as headache, mood changes, nausea, back pain, breast pain and swelling, as well as decreased libido. Some patients discontinue oral contraception due to fear of side effects or temporary ailments before consulting their doctor what may result in unintended pregnancy The aim of the following paper was to present most frequent side effects of oral contraception, ways of their monitoring and diagnosis._________________

Haha Xenon.
CS, I would imagine the pill isn't that great for my gf's body, but we can't possibly get her pregnant at this time in our lives. She has no choice but to stay on it, so what other options do I have?

She could try switching to a pill that contains drospirenone (usually has less effect on libido), and she could take that pill I mentioned above (a link included to the proper form). What it does is decrease elevated levels of SHBG (caused by the birth control pill), which decreases free testosterone....so with the natural pill I mentioned will help revert this process by allowing more free-T and hence, help restore libido.

And by the grace of the gods if I succeed in her switching to those pills, I thank you. Now, with my much appreciated thank you out of the way, let's both agree with the knowledge of a woman's nature. What are her other options if she says no? Any random libido boosting pills in a pharmacy?

You can try her on that special nettle root extract mentioned earlier. It may decrease the SHBG.Growdamnit wrote:And by the grace of the gods if I succeed in her switching to those pills, I thank you. Yes, but you're saying it's not guaranteed to make her horny as a rabbit.
Efit: I mean, I COULD have a kid and bang her everyday for 8 1/2 months.
