No poo and topicals

I know a lot of you guys don't use shampoo often. How do you wash topicals like Emu oil out of your hair if you aren't using shampoo? It makes my hair very sticky and clumpy.

i use shampoo. chemical free, alternating with selsun gold and coal tar.
however that time DS labs revita had the bad batch that left sticky gunk in hair, i made a paste out of baking soda. it was the only thing that got rid of the residue. everything else just added to it.
just take a palmful of the powder and mix with some water. i am certain it will work for u.
