Topicals and dandruff

So I unfortunately resorted to using minoxidil a few months back, but I've decided to stick with it since it gives me some peace of mind knowing that if I stray from my diet/regimen that I have somethting to try to counterbalance it.

I also add Hair Muck (beta sitosterol/saw palmetto/ BHT/Glycerin) to try to block any excess DHT topically. I've been noticing some weird residue in the minox bottle though and have (stupidly)continued to use it anyway. I opened up the hair muck bottle lat night and saw mold growing in it. I'm not sure what to do now. My dandruff has been acting up A LOT recently and I think it's because of this.

1) Does anyone have any suggestions on how to combat the dandruff at this point as it is most likely from the mold?

2) Should I get some new topical beta sitosterol (any reccomendations?) or switch to something else? Sea Buckthorn Oil? What works best at blocking DHT topically? And can I mix it with the minox?

The one mentioned on the main site, DMSO and Lithium, got rid of my dandruff completely.
