The Greatest Nutrition Researcher of the 20th Century
I agree with this article and have the book, "Nutrition & Physical Degeneration." It is often heralded as the greatest work ever published on nutrition. The pictures of people on "primitive diets" compared to "civilized diets" is very evident in this book.

Also wanted to point out that today's Cod Liver Oil (formerly in my regimen) has become virtually bankrupt in nutritional value due to competition amongst the makers of cod liver oil. In order to survive they have bypassed a significant factor behind cod liver oils value, which was that it was sourced from deep sea fish. Now days, more than ever--farmed fish are being used instead.
The last bastion of good cod liver oil remains and it is called Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver oil. A little goes a long way since the fermentation process exponentially increases the nutritional value of this food. It contains a perfect ratio of various forms of A and D plus other useful nutrients.

Re: The Greatest Nutrition Researcher of the 20th Century
I subscribe to Mercola's newsletter, but not received one for a couple of weeks. At first I was not sure if Mercola was trustworthy or just trying to sell products like water filters and supps etc. Obviously he wants to make a profit but it's a question of morals.... I now think he is a reliable source of information.
This is a long winded way of asking for your opinion on Mercola?

Petch - Mercola had his website for several years before he began selling anything on this site. He started to say when he introduced the first few products that to maintain a staff and continue to provide this sort of service he had to sell products to keep it going.
I think Mercola is totally on the up and up. I've never considered him to be much of an authority on supplements however, as that has not been his focus or expertise. I think he's probably the best source of overall important health information on the web today.

Thanks for the reply CS. I've also subscribed to the 'health ranger' newsletter, seems as genuine as they come.
Good to see that there are some people you can trust for the quality of their info, you're a great source too, hence why I come back every couple of weeks to read through the forum. There's more and more posts to go through every time.
