Why do I get dark lines when I do scalp massages on my scalp

Everything I do massages, I usually scrunch the back of my head at the crown area. In the folds they get darker lines, not necessarily dark like black, but kind of like stretch mark yet not indented? It happened to me before they were bad last time, but over time went away in a few months or maybe weeks. Now a year later I start massaging my scalp scrunching the crown, now the lines are back but not as dark or as bad as last year. They kind of look like stretch marks, but not indented or a slight charcoal color very light what could it be?

I've had them too. Thankfully they do fade away, but man was it horrifying when I thought the lines might be permanent. The lines only appear in the receding part of my scalp at the edge of the temples, so I always assumed it might be extra blood flow breaking through the calcification.

Hi,   First make sure you are taking at least 1000 mg of vitamin C daily.  This will keep your skin elastic and healing properly. Being easily bruised leaving coloration is a normal sign of low vitamin C. If you want to get educated and serious about vitamin C as I have done,  see the link.

Secondly really avoid pinching,  creasing, or scrunching. People have reported deep lasting creases. DT-CPR is designed for pressing and avoiding these problems,  and for me it works well.
