CS - What tests should I get done?

I’m going into town in a few weeks to get my vitamin D levels rechecked since I was very low before. I’m going to ask the doctor to give me a few other tests at the same time.

I’d like to know what type of blood tests would be good to try to discover what’s going on with my body.

I have very slow diffusing hair loss throughout my head including the permanent zone, but my hairline is still intact.

I also have acne on my cheeks which seems borderline incurable with the many different chemical and natural treatments I’ve tried including accutane.

Other than these two issues every time I’ve gone to the doctor they rave how good my health is, I’ve never really had any other health issues my whole life. But these two issues as well as a propensity for cysts and dermatitis have gone on for almost 10 years.

These are the tests I’m thinking of getting:
Iodine
Zinc
Thyroid


Your help is very much appreciated.  

Diffusing - Finding the right person to do this stuff is even harder than finding the right test.

A lot of those issues are gut related in my opinion. Accutane will destroy the gut...some food for thought.

Dr Richard Loyd saliva test. Just google it.

Well that could be the case. i did take antibiotics and drink very heavily before my hair loss occurred.

do you think taking these tests would be a waste of time then?

The problem with tests is knowing what to order and what to look for. In integrative medicine, a through examination is necessary to understand what is applicable. Then there is the interpretation.

Having said that, you mentioned antibiotics...Often when a lot is taken can be a potential for problems, especially if some digestion difficulties follow.
