How hard would it be to *permanently* damage a hair follicle from brushing too hard? (sorry if this is a silly question, but it is a concern of mine)

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts on this are? (sorry if this might be redundant from my other thread, but just wanted to make a more condensed question here).

If I could get thoughts on this I would be so greatly appreciative.
Would one actually have to have full on bleeding and visible scar tissue forming to confirm that a follicle has been permanently damaged?
I have had up and down weeks with this brushing, some weeks showing good vellous (some darkening maybe) growth on hairline, to this past week with my hairline just seeming a lot more sparse. I cant help but question whether its shedding (Im 3 months in, so it makes me wonder) or if Im actually negatively impacting things (and my worse fear is that it would be permanent)...
Again, sorry for the redudancy in threads, I feel this one is more straight to the point of my concern though.

I don't know entirely for sure, but I've brushed hard enough to where I bled and now, I'm regrowing hair. You have to brush pretty damn hard for it to damage your scalp. Just get blood up there.
