Revisiting this: how hard is it to irreversibly damage a hair follicle?
I know I tend to be a bit paranoid but I was wondering what the thoughts were on this?
I did 2 days in a row of boar brushing and DT (when I usually just do boar brushing) and Im noticing a small patch with no signs of life. All other areas are covered in vellous (albeit tiny tiny ones that are end stage DHT effectes hairs). Just concerns me that I don't even see those.
Anyways, brushed again today without taking a day off as I just told myself I'm being paranoid, but seeing such a barren patch makes me concerned.
Paranoid side of my brain is thinking permanent damage, other side of my brain is telling me if they have to repeatedly laser hair then I should be fine and the hairs prolly just got sheared off at the roots and are taking some time to re emerge.
Anyways, any thoughts greatly appreciated!

I understand I might be going a bit overboard. But any sound minds on here that would care to contribute their thoughts to help put things into perspective for me I would so so much appreciate it!

I cut myself really badly when shaving about 5 years ago.
just a small dent, barely noticeable.
but that area is scarred forever, very small and light, but no hair grows there at all. I believe this might be fibrosis ? I don't know.
