Jack3d - Pre Workout - CS and others

HI guys,

I was wondering what CS's and others opinion is (health and hair wise) about taking a pre workout like jack3d.

I've used this product before and thoroughly enjoyed it. It does what it is designed to do, which is increase blood flow and act as a stimulant. The caffeine and higenamine are pretty stimulatory and provide a pretty solid energy boost.

That said, if you have any type of adrenal issues, it can be a bit much. Especially the higenamine. It boosts your levels of catecholamines. Basically, its puts you into a prolonged fight or flight mode. While that can be useful, and aid in burning fat, it is an essential stressor. People who are already in good health can usually tolerate it. But any adrenal problems and it could make you worse for the wear.

Make sure to consume enough carbohydrate after your workout, it will help mitigate some of those issues.

In terms of hair loss, there are a couple of things that this product could do that might be argued to be anti-hair. Do I think it will make or break where you are at? Nope.
