question for everyone doing boar bristle brushing

Hey guys. Question, does anyone experience a puffy face kind of feeling after doing some semi vigorous brushing (a La ferox advice to irritate the scalp)? Maybe because of blood flow? but I did some last night and this morning I got a puffy face type feeling even though my face didnt actually look that puffy..
