I've seen some guys here that think testosterone in itself is bad for hair. Even scarier, some of them think estrogen is good for it. This article provides a great explanation on the hormonal environment in baldness. Thanks to big pharma, there is a lot of incorrect data out there that demonstrates estrogen as an all around pro health hormone. They gotta sell those meds somehow. Stay awake guys.

Increasing FSH, LH, Test....mimicking a hyper active pituitary....sounds like D-AA fits the bill here with an AI or something that specifically targets the bad estrogen and prolactin.

If two conditions characterise mpb: (1) overactive reductase, and (2) - even more severely - underactive aromatase, in the scalp, then what estrogen (???) is the bad guy? None. However, there is not one estrogen - it has been proposed that estron is (or rather the absence of it) the problem.

From what I understand, low oxygen levels in balding scalps prevent aromatization to estradiol, so there is more free testosterone, and less competition for the 5ar, so any free 5ar can bind to the testosterone, increasing the dht/ estradiol ratio....THIS I believe is what kills the hair, the wacky ratio....That's why decreased dht= hair growth, and increased estradiol = hair growth, it balances the RATIO

Yeah, and drugs like finasteride inactivate a part of the reductase enzymes and so help with the balance.
