I created a thread sometime ago about inflammation occurring in my scalp when I wear too much thick clothing. I have also noticed that my scalp begins to inflame if I have two duvets on me when I'm in bed + wearing pyjamas (especially when wearing PJ's). BUT if i remove the extra duvet and pyjamas, the inflammation always goes away.

I don't exactly know why it happens, but I'll take a stab in the dark, here; extra thick clothes and too many blankets trap body heat, the warmth causes dilation of capillaries, and extra blood is directed to cells throughout the body, possibly leaving the scalp short of oxygenated blood.

I know it sounds absurd, but i really have noticed a continuous pattern of inflammation exclusively to my scalp, if my body is over insulated when I'm in bed.

Has anyone else noticed this, and would anyone else care to comment on why they think this happens?
