Predisnalone - advice needed

Hi guys

I'm wondering if I can ask your advice. Apparently I have bent cartilage and huge polyps in my nose. I think it's affecting my sleep cycles.
The ENT has prescribed 40mg predisnalone for 2 weeks and then if that doesn't work I may need surgery. I haven't been sleeping well and feel that this might be the reason but concerned about the steroids.
I think it's allergy related but have done everything I can think of and they are still bad.
I have lab confirmed low cortisol anyway so maybe this will be a blessing in disguise?
Is there anything I shouldn't be doing or taking with this?

I think CS mentioned that this can, at therapuetic doses at least, be good for inflammation and also people with adrenal fatigue. I think my constant, seemingly unsolvable allergies are frying my adrenals on a daily basis, so perhaps this could be good for me.

I'm just intrigued about the dose, will this sort of dose cause issues, would a half dose still have the desired affect with the polyps and do I need to taper off the drug at the end of the two weeks.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Ozonate your room daily for at least 30 mins, stop gluten and dairy for three weeks.

Hi bob, thanks for your reply, i've not looked into ozonating my room. Do you have any recommends of a cost effective solution? I've tried elimination diets, but never really had much luck. Thanks.

Hi,

Any ebay ozonator should do, it also depends on the size of the room. The one I use is only suited for a small room the cost was $80.

You can also use a himalayan salt lamp which you always leave on, this will help with mold, not to the extent of the ozonator. Try a ozonator first.

If I was going to remove two things out of your diet to remove allergies it would be dairy and eggs. You will need to remove all dairy and eggs for the full effect. e.g. no biotin supplements allowed as well.
