New look ink/injury regrowth?

It occurred to me that it might be interesting to see wether scalp tattoos could cause regrowth through wounding?
It would be like intense needling I guess and I was wandering wether there had been any reports of people who have undergone this procedure and noticed better hair growth?
Any thoughts?

I think it's unlikely, since probable toxins in the ink would negate any benefit from wounding.
