In regards to all those illnesses you posted as being relatively modern diseases, its another exalmple of how little you've looked into things, those inflammitory conditions have been around a long time.

sighs.... do I really have to find a chart that shows that the rate of diseases has climbed up significantly over the last 50 years?

How can you take yourself seriously when you counter one argument with another? I didn't say that these diseases haven't increased, I said that they've existed for a very very long time.

right!! inflammation in an average person today is much much higher than it was a couple decades ago YET the rate of baldness is still the same....

All of this has been discussed at length on this forum by users who aren't around much anymore due to lack of hairloss and better health, if you were actually interested in constructive debate you could read some. I now rid myself of you good sir, somebody else will have to babysit you.

Is it? Can you point me to a link? I always though MPB was on the increase.

CONCLUSION:

Pre-incubation with EPA primarily affects the COX-2 pathway in cultured human mast cells and reduces PGD2 generation in response to IgE-anti-IgE challenge incubation. These findings suggest that COX-1 and COX-2 have different substrate flow systems in mast cells.
