I tend to agree. While it may be annoying, I would just say block him from the thread if possible or let it die. Blocking someone entirely from posting just tends to make it look like we're afraid of what he's saying. It's better to let him have his say and prove him wrong.

The truth is their isn't a whole lot of research don't to prove natural methods are successful at treating diseases. There are a ton more studies out there proving that drugs are effective at treating different ailments; hell the pharm companies are the ones funding the studies! Who is gonna provide the funding to prove natural methods (crickets).

Truthfully I was referring to those posts, but I know what you mean. It is frustrating how little information is out there. There's such a conflict of interest on the part of researchers, and the problem is most funding for that research comes from the big pharma interests who are certainly influencing what kind of "data" are being generated.

I actually am with you on the circulation thing, I think its a component. I guess what I mean to say is I didn't intend to offend you with that. I think we both agree that 2020 was warranted to want some proof, its just A) its difficult to provide because research pertaining to a scientific proof is only being funded by big pharma so its drug focused, and B) it wasn't be asked for in the proper ways.

did you not read the study I posted where it says that ginkgo actually inhibits COX-2 and PGD2?? That's why it works!! it has nothing to do with circulation and all with PGD2.

there is some genuine research being done by scientists genuinely interested in alleviating the condition and extending the results to other conditions. i think the study regarding pgd2 was one. there have been studies on natural compounds tho they are few and far in between. essential oils have been studies for alopecia areata, polyphenols have been studied for AGA, green tea extract has been studied for AGA, gamma linoleic acid has been found to be effective at reducing 5AR 1 and 2 (it can be found in natural sources, tho youd do better if it were deesterified)

i was referring to the above posteres mention of "conflict of interest", and lack of studies on "natural" therapies. i am simply saying despite the conflict of interests lots of the scientists who are working on alopecia genuinely want to find things that cure it. maybe companies want to profit from it as well. everyone dealing in natural things also want to make money. it really doesnt matter if someone wants to make money. thats the structure of our social-economic system.

anyhow, the natural point doesnt matter. supplements are not natural, taking vitamins is not natural, lasering is not natural etc. i wouldnt get hung up on needing something to be "natural". i want something that works. i dont care if its natural or not. lol
