Amazing grass really is amazing

i just thought I needed to share my experience with the amazing grass superfood that I've been taking recently.
I was just browsing around in gnc and came across thus stuff, and decided to try it out. I wasn't really expecting much, but let me tell you that for me, the difference in energy and overall well being is huge!
I take a scoop and mix it with water first thing in the morning (it is not the best taste or consistency, but not really bad), and let me tell you I can really feel a sense of increased energy, not nervous or jittery at all, just like a healthy glow eminating from my core is the best way to describe it. I also notice I have less anxiety and my digestive system seems to be working better.
I have been on and off health kicks for several years, including everything from oil pulling to ACV to eating hardly anything processed, and I feel that this is, by far, the best thing I've done for my sense if well being. I really think it's made a difference in my sexual health as well.

Now I realize that everyone has different nutritional demands, and that not everyone will response the same way to this, buy for me the stuff is priceless, and I will definately be taking it on a regular basis.

I should also mention that I started taking kelp tablets at the same time, but I doubt that is making much of a difference, especially since I've only been taking the stuff for for five days.

I get the tablets. I haven't been taking them regularly (am more into alfalfa tabs right now) but my son loves the Amazing Grass tabs, and he generally doesn't
care for supplements. He says he can really feel the difference with them, and that they even make him feel happy. A natural high?

Natural high is a good way to explain it. High on grass haha

You are VERY wrong. Kelp (iodine) will give you energy and make you feel better in just few days. It is because it has direct affect on your thyroids. If you were low to start with your body will react very positively to the much needed iodine you consume.

Well I didn't think the kelp had THAT much iodine in it.

Well there's only one way to find out if the Kelp is helping because of your thyroid. Take some actual Iodine, and see what THAT does.

I'm curious...how does this stuff taste? Moe, you said "not bad" but a lot of green drinks I've experienced have kind of a fishy, choline-y taste/odor to them. Does this?

Eh, it has peppermint in it so most of the flavor is peppermint-y, but there is a somewhat grassy taste to it. The worst part for most people who don't like it is the texture; it has alot of fiber, so there is very finely chopped up plant matter in it that doesn't dissolve at all.

How mch iodine do you recommend?

I take huge amounts daily, but you have to work your way up to it.

If you're using the Iosol from Iherb, measure yourself out to 12.5 mg a day, and pair it with Selenemethionine, a good sea salt, and possibly Zinc. After that research the forums a bit and get a better feel on how much you should take yourself.
