what is a spike in blood sugar?
R lipoic acid is to be taken with meals to prevent a spike in blood sugar , but whats considered a spike? ( meaning being detrimental for health and for hair loss). Wikipedia say normal is 4.4 to 6.1 mmol/L (82 to 110 mg/dL) and with meals that can go up to 7.8 mmol/L (140 mg/dL) afterwards.
