Yogurt and Blood Sugar
CS, I know you've said that dairy can cause a lot of problem in terms of blood sugar. How would Yogurt factor into this equation?

Yanks - While cheese can raise insulin levels, it seems to be better tolerated and I think it's okay. Pasteurized milk though is one of the worst foods for hair. Some even have a problem with it raw.
Yogurt should be fine, and if it happens to be home made, it will be even better for hair.

tooyoung - We have a parathyroid gland that regulates calcium intake, not drinking milk isn't a dire consequence. Sugar has more to do with calcium retention than anything. You can always eat cheese if you're still worried about calcium.

Is there nothing else? Hard cheese are in your top 10 bad foods.

Isn't yogurt loaded with sugar though? That's why I avoid it.

Plain full fat greek yogurt (like Fage) isn't loaded with sugar and is quite tasty.
Fruit on the Bottom Dannon or whatever is probably loaded with sugar (though, still very tasty!).

I agree with xyion, the plain greek stuff is tasty without all the sugar. If you want to sweeten it a little throw in some berries, apple slices, or grapes.
