Effective anti-yeast/anti-candida diet?
I recently started the SCD diet, but also recently confirmed yeast overgrowth. Upon looking at the anti-yeast/candida recooomendations online, they strongly recommend avoiding foods that SCD approves of, and viceversa SCD recommends avoiding foods that these other diets recommend.
The main thing that sticks out is an anti-yeast/candida diet avoiding too much carbs--especially sugars, even sweet potatoes, and pure fruit juice, alcohol, promoting an optimal protein to carb ration. On the other hand SCD does not recommend against carbs, just to eat specific forms, fruit juice being completely "legal" as long as no sugar is added to it.
I was looking forward to trying the SCD because the foods that are "legal" appeal to me. The thruth is, I do not know if fruit juice, fruits, sweet potatoes, feed yeast/candida, but I do crave the sweets and I feel best when I do.
Looking for some advice on the matter, as I don't want to jump into a whole new diet, and end up feeling miserable trying to hold of and starve yeast/candida, which is pretty much the idea of this other diet--really do not want to go down that road again. Both of these diets are for GI health yet are very different.
Thoughts?

By the way, I started SCD because of leaky gut symptoms/inflammation...
