What's up with my pinky (numbness)?

Last couple of months I've too often noticed semi-numbness in my pinky. It's pretty odd since I use it a lot, on a daily basis. Or perhaps this is the problem (carpal tunnel). Research also points towards the ulnar nerve.

Any theories?

Thanks. I've had numbness in my hand for over a year, and slowly has been getting better. It came from cracking my neck.

How do you know it came from cracking your neck?

My numbness in pinky and ring fingers stopped by oil pulling with sesame oil. How oil pulling stopped the numbness, I have no idea. But I was waking up every night with numbness and it suddenly ended when I started swishing sesame oil in my mouth for 20 minutes every morning.

I think the neck could have a big part to play in this. I damaged my neck pretty bad in a tackle about 6 months ago and have been waking up every night with numbness in legs and arms since.

Also I remember jdp saying that cracking of the neck was due to some metal (was it nickel? maybe mercury. cant remember) which could result in numbness. So oil pulling could help in that regard if one had fillings.

Quite a few people who are chelating get stiff necks and numbness. I remember green power saying he had this problem.

Have you been using ALA misirlou? Any neck cracking to report?

Sorry, I should have said in the process of cracking my neck I am quite sure I did some damage around that area. I was in a bad spot for a goodly period of time, and I know my problems were originating from nerve related issues from around the spine.
