I'm wondering why we don't discuss this option more often. Assuming liposomal spironolactone is more effective than the regular cream versions, and considering how potent of an anti-androgen it is, wouldn't it make sense to include this in EVERY hair loss regimen?

The kind I have purchase is intended to be left on the scalp for 5 minutes to penetrate, then washed off immediately. Thus, odor is of no conern. It just becomes a short regimen before your daily shower.

Something tells me that it spironolactone must have no effectiveness whatsoever since I haven't heard reports of anyone taking it seriously. I've also humored the possibility that 90% of message-boarders don't happen to have access to a doctor that will prescribe/compound it. Doesn't anyone here have any experience with it?
