Rash from animals Empty Rash from animals

I searched the forum but couldn't find anything about rashes and allergies from animals.

My brother has just got a cat and has developed a rash and has had to move her out of his bedroom. I was wondering if this is related to anything (adrenals? similar to seasonal allergies?) or if there is anything he could do about it. He is a smoker, I read smoking affects histamines, could this be anything to do with it?

My dad also has a long term allergy to pet dander, are all animal rashes usually caused by the same problem?

Thanks.

Gut issues can cause allergies.. O.O

How long have you had it for and how's your gut health doing?

If not... I really don't know, sorry Smile

I agree with Hoppi. It seems my diet directly effects my allergy to animals. Too much sugar or dairy = asthmatic attacks, rashes, itchy throat/eyes, sneezing etc.

I feeli close to invinsible around animals when I've stuck to lower cal, meat, sat fatty oil, and low carb based veggie diet for a few weeks... That's as long as I keep my digestion/elimination on point.
