No, I stumpled upon it today, but I remember someone mentioning a while back (Prague, maybe?) that for some people drinking enough water might help with excessive sebum production, and I thought it could be interesting in that context.

Yeah, I agree. The layout is somewhat cheasy, but his story is pretty amazing. He has also been featured in the NY Times.

This worked for me.

Long story short. I started loosing hair slowly at age 20. Six years later i started finasteride and minox. 2years after that i quit the poison and found this website and have been taking all kinds of supplements. It healed my gut, as i also took out all stressfull factors, and my hair grew back more than it ever did.

But after some time it went downhill and i have been going back and forth hairwise, past 2 - 3 months it is the worst it has ever been. I was not going to give up so i was thinking really hard what was wrong, i had experimented with salt before and i found sometimes it worked but not so good at other times. So now i started to drink lots of water, more than i have ever done. Well it is working as for the first time in a very very long time my scalp has been feeling great for 3 weeks, no itch and no shedding. I havent checked for regrowth (im not as paranoid about this as i was) but every time that my scalp has felt good and i got rid of the itch my hair grows back. It has only been 3 weeks but i just wanted to share this and tell people that this is something that is working for me.

What kind of supplements did you take, and what kind of diet you ate and lifestyle changes did you make in that time your hair were growing back ?

Also, did it grow back to the density and thickness they were before you experienced hairloss ? I mean, was it a full regrowth ?

It grew 70% back, i had been thinning and had a receding hairline going on for a few years. I took all kinds of supplements, just the ones that are reccomended on this site. I just feel that the main factor back than was that i started working towards better mental health and backing away from prolonged stress that i had been under.


Its all about gut health, mental health and as little stress as possible, the right supplements and to hydrate your body, it will help you greatly if you stay away from alcohol and coffee.

I do believe that my adrenals were in a bad shape, and i think being well hydrated is very important, i.e to drink alot of water and a small amount of salt with it.
