Question about Emu oil. Empty Question about Emu oil.

Post  Nuada Tue Dec 09, 2008 9:43 am

Guys I was reading forums on regrowth.com and someone mentioned Emu oil and its benefits.
Has anyone tried it ? I'd appreciate feedbacks about it.

Btw I wonder if there is anyone here like me, some dermatologist told me that I had an oily scalp(not too much though) but my hair is usually pretty dry. I usually shampoo everyday, but that kinda dries up my scalp as well as my hair. I use aubreys ginseng shampoo wtihout dmso and lithium, because I couldn't find lithium in my country, so I couldn't create the mixture.

Anyways, any suggestions on natural topicals, like oils etc ?

Jojoba and lavender oil are really good.

Emu oil has some science behind it but I really didn't notice to much as far as growth but my patience was thin at that point. I do not use it any longer. If your hair is dry and brittle it you might also try reducing or eliminating your fried food and incorporating in healthy oils as well as getting a shower filter.

Do you suggest me to get both jojoba and lavender oils or pick one ?

And I remember that someone else mentioned that shower filter too. Do you know where can I get one ?

I have an AquaSana at my parent's house, though I have to migrate it over to my place at some point.

It is honestly up to you with the oils. I would try them both and find if one of them works better for you. I wouldn't discount emu oil unless you have tried it as you might see some benefit. I used long view farms brand.

I use aquasana as well, but it is up to you. Just make sure it gets rid of chlorine and VOC's to an acceptable level. I would search for independent tests.
