A question to CS, JDP..
I just got my supply of Nigari yesterday. Had a few questions..
1 What is the protocol for internal and external use. ( body and scalp ).
2 Is it 1 tablespoon in one liter of water?? Is this same for internal and external?
3 How many sprays at a time for external use and how many times a week?
4 How much to use when applying it topically on the scalp?? I was planning to rub it in..leave it overnight and wash it off with IH topical. Is that ok??
5 Last but not least do you have to put the flakes in boiling water or can you just add them in room temprature water??

Re: A question to CS, JDP..
Don't know about internal use. Really no need for internal use anyhow. If you do want an internal mag supplement would recommend mangnesium malate... AOR mag malate being the best.
External use, just add flakes to distilled water till it no longer dissolves. Room temperature water, over several days. more info = http://www.ehow.com/how_5918363_make-magnesium-chloride-oil-pain.html
Also, wouldn't leave the mag oil on once it starts to dry. The reason being is that it will dry your skin out/scalp out. You can put a shower cap on to keep it from drying however. But again, once it starts to dry rinse it out.
How many sprays? Would recommend around 10 sprays if it's super saturated... meaning that you can't add anymore nigari without it dissolving. Then rub in. May see a reversal of gray hair. If applied to face may see a reversal of fine lines, better skin, etc..
Lastly, magnesium should have a synergy with LLLT.
hope this helps

Armpits and feet are good places to raise mag levels. Can do a foot soak. Don't know about pre or post IH topical but don't see a problem either way.
How many sprays... see my previous post.

Re: A question to CS, JDP..
I followed the instructions as outlined in that tutorial regarding nigari. It's been one and half day. Do I need to stir the nigari flakes or should I let it sit still. Looks like most have been dissolved in water...a few are remaining at the bottom of the jar. Should I stir it or let it sit still??

Age 29.
Pretty much everything recommended by CS along with a solid diet.
More of a paleo-primal diet modified with the use of fatty cuts of meat, fish, fowl, eggs lots of cruciferous vegetables, marginal use of raw dairy ( raw goats milk, raw kefir, raw goats cheese, raw goats kefir ) carbs ( buckwheat, brown rice, sweet potatoes, yams ) and some fruits ( banana, oranges, berries, kiwi, apple ) and some nuts ( brazil nuts, almonds, walnuts, pistachios ). Moderate use of port wine, red wine and 90% dark chocolate.
Workouts....powerlifting 4 days a week and twice a week of running. Some yoga, deep breathing thrown in every now and then.
My hair is definitely improving since the time I have started the IH regime, my diet and exercise regime. So far so good.

Re: A question to CS, JDP..
I started off with topical nigari today and had a few questions in that regard..
1 The moment I applied it on my skin and scalp I got a burning sensation. Is that a good sign??
2 Although JDP had mentioned earlier that I should wash it off once it dries off I had also read posts by NID that magnesium oil can be applied overnight washing it off the next day?? Should I alternate between the two approaches??
CS topical is da bomb. I have been using it almost everyday since a few days now and can't believe the way it cleans hair and scalp. Hair feels softer and thicker after every wash.
