Hypothyroidism and hair regrowth
I currently have thinning on the top of my head.
in an all around circle just on the top of my head so i
tried reseveratrol and curcumin for at least a year.
Nothing really happened still shed from 100 to 150
hairs a day. I started taking lugol's %2 iodine solution.
I would take at least 10 mg daily for a couple of months.
That's when i noticed my hair shed much less
i lost now 70 to 90 hairs a day. So i immediately
jumped on the idea of dosing higher. I currently take
20mg a day and my hair has now almost completely stopped.
I now shed just 15 to 20 hairs a day. (which is normal to me)
and was curious just how much iodine i would need to start
to regrow my hair?
Although i stopped having the massive sheds my hair is still
thin and not regrowing. Would i have to top my daily iodine amount
at 50mg just enough for the thyroid or possibly
100mg ?

Re: Hypothyroidism and hair regrowth
This might sound completely off topic but
the hair that i used to shed were actually still
with the root attached. And now my hairs dont
shed with the root. Would that have been irreversible
if it was shed that way? please help
