I have heard positive things about the horsetail herb from various sources due to its silica content. I was wondering your thoughts on it, and if it is possibly good for the hair, why isn't it on the list?

jk120 - Many have tried various sources of silica. There is one study that supports some positive effect for women, but in my experience and many others, using premium forms of silca have found it not to be anything noticable.

However, I take an oral form of magnesium that is paired with some silica just for support.
