help in the hair loss regimen Empty help in the hair loss regimen

Post  AboDi Thu Feb 18, 2010 1:39 pm

so i am 22 , and i have an aggressive hair loss , however

i've been around this site and another 2 sites for a short time and u will probably recognize it ..

http://www.hairloss-research.org/

http://www.hairloss-reversible.com/

i didnt read everything in those sites .. and i gotta mention that i have some difficulties in understanding all things since my english is not that good ..

so i choose some supplements and i really could use the help of the experts in picking my regimen

ultra natural prostate formula ( lifeextention)

estrogen with pomegranate extract ( lifeextention)

super absorbable soy isoflavones ( lifeextention)

curcumin 95

Ecklonia cava extract

Krill Oil

R-Lipoic Acid

Acetyl L-Carnitine

Vitamin D3 + Vitamin K2

Biotin

Broccoli seed extract

Brewer's Yeast

Vitex Fruit - Chasteberry

last 10 are form http://www.immortalhair.org/mycurrentregimen.htm

so what do u think ?

I appreciate any help and please pardon any ignorant gesture ..

P.S am using procyanidin caps and topical from http://www.applepoly.com/procyanidin-b-2/index.htm

AboDi - You could probably eliminate a few items, without compromising your results.

Namely, you could subtract the following: ultra natural prostate formula ( lifeextention).
estrogen with pomegranate extract ( lifeextention), super absorbable soy isoflavones ( lifeextention)
Applepoly complex.

Here are some important considerations: Most suffering from pattern baldness are sensitive to wheat/gluten products.
They can cause low thyroid, and reduce glutathione levels, as well as promote insulin resistance, causing oxidative stress.

Do you presently have any mercury or other composite fillings in your teeth?

Yikes,

The one site is saying to use Iron for hair loss

"Iron Protein Plus

Supplementing with Iron, whether you are Iron deficient or not, appears to significantly enhance the efficacy of other concurrent treatments. This appears to hold true for both men and women. The mechanisms behind this remain unclear.

Directions: Take 1-2 Iron Protein Plus daily, with meals."

Taking iron is a mistake, especially for men. It's not iron most are short on, it's either Vitamin D, iodine or being overloaded in mercury, which affects the oxygen delivery to the mitochondria and decreases energy production, due to a problem with available heme, the oxygen component in hemoglobin.

hi CS,

how can we find out if we are overloaded on mercury?

what can we take to combat mercury?

i eat a lot of fish, sushi and sashimi. I would suspect a lot of mercury there perhaps??

RobHealthMan - I just wrote about this a few days ago, no need to worry about mercury in your fish. The dentist is a more likely source.

tooyoung - 97% of the population is low on iodine. However, if you want to make sure you're not in the 3% that is sufficient, then there is an iodine loading test.

I see .. though if I took them or some of them lets say ultra natural prostate formula for the overall health of prostate would there be a problem ? and if i pick some of Ancillary/Supplemental & Helpful when eating "civilized foods" lists , it is not specialized (for specific ppl) isnt it ?

about the wheat this is a bit of problem coz my current diet contain some (or alot) ..i can handle it tho

and no i dont have anything in my teeth.. thank u sir for ur response..

AboDi - If you like the Prostate formula, it's okay to take.

The problem with wheat is that even if tests do not suggest a sensitivity, it still causes a sustained elevation of blood glucose, causing more DHT. Cutting down wheat intake can improve your overall result.

tooyoung - No risk, it's a very safe mineral. However, it's important to make sure that you're taking enough selenium when taking it.

Also, if you have a lot of bromide in your tissue, you may experience a bromide detoxification (temporary acne), then salt loading (celtic salt) is a good idea to help with this process. In some cases, heart palpitations can occur if your sodium iodide symporter has problems, then you can temporarily cease iodine intake, load up with celtic salt, and then later resume iodine.

At the moment i'm currently having problems with heart palpitations. Happened a day or two before my regimen so no worries about that, however, should i wait until these have stopped before starting on iodine? Any ideas what they might be? it also feels like my head is sort of heavy and i feel dizzy sometimes. Went to the doctors and had an ecg, getting results on wednesday but they suspect nothing.

Caustic- If a person has toxins from mercury fillings which causes a host of symptoms do you think that it makes the supplements have reverse reaction on the body. I have wondering this for a while because of my reaction with certain IH supps has me confused. Eckolonia Cava, Acetyl l Carnitine and Brewers yeast all increase inflammation and flakiness in my scalp.

Caustic- Im currently not taking iodine or selenium. Planning to get my silver fillings removed and then start removing all mercury and toxins. I believe that my silver fillings are linked to candida(inflammation) and allergies towards certain supplements i have tried in the past

RobHealthMan - Dental associations would have unlimited liability, of the few in these professions understand the dangers their hands are tied, because if someone were to openly denounce these risks, the legal fees would be astronomical.

AboDi - Which country do you reside in?

The only one on the list that is priced reasonably is Brewer's yeast. Wouldn't take Acetyl L-Carnitine unless you're taking lipoic acid with it.

I might be able to find a more affordable site.
