Sides from topical bromelain

After three months of thereabout of using topical bromelain i had sides, believe it or not, it can cause nervous system effects .. which i first attributed to PF .. something to be aware of if using it topically longterm.

How were you able to attribute the sides to the enzyme? What were they? That is pretty crazy to think that a topical digestive enzyme could produce systemic sides. Makes me think twice about considering topical dutasteride.

I would also be intersted if you could discuss this further - being currently experimenting with topical bromelain.

It is perhaps incorrect to think topical application does not become systemic - it all depends on the chemical, bioavailability, and cofactors used. Human skin can be 10-20 times more absorbable than via the gut, there is almost no processing, it goes straight into the system.

The nervous system has two extreme ends, a depressed one which is coma and an ecstatic one which is convulsion .. i know how the ecstatic feels from topical camphor, bromelain is similar but has a much slower onset and takes much longer use to build up, months in my experience. I advice caution using it topically for a long term, if sliding toward one of the two extremes begin to occur.
