Front Hairline help
hi all and CS,
Any good suggestions for front hairline? Im currently on fin and minox.
I been reading on this site about some zix or zinc topical. I also read about 2% Nizoral cream and emu oil on some other sites.
I can still see small little hairs at my hairline. I think i can save it!
Anyone experience good results with any topical solutions to help bring back receding hairline?
thank you in advance!

Rob-
I have been using Ultra Pure Emu Oil every night for about 6 weeks and have actuallly been using a very fine needle (2 or 3 days a week) to lightly puncture the scalp for better absorbtion. I am encouraged by results this far.

Re: Front Hairline help
big mike- how are the results showing themselves? Are the punctures actually having thicker hairs coming through?
Also, can I have a link towards the emu oil your using perhaps on iHerb?

I'm seeing very tiny hairs regrow so far, but it has only been 6 weeks. But it is encouraging, so I'm definitly going to continue with it. Using a needle is very simple, I just make sure to sterolize them everytime. The stuff I've been using is below. It's not cheap, but seems to be a quality oil.

I use pure emu oil every night before bed on my hairline. Believe me, man, it works. In just 2 months, I've noticed small hairs growing along my hairline.
I was on fin/minox before switching to natural supplements and emu oil has always been good to me.

Gromit -
I actually don't use a dermaroller at this point. I had heard of people having success with "needling" while on minox, so I decided to give it a try with emu oil. I just bought some very thin needles and have been lightly puncturing the scalp (just the front) a few times a week. I figure that since it's very simple to do, doesn't hurt, and may be benificial, why not see what happens.
As for the temples, I don't have too much of an issue, so yea I just use the emu oil.

You want to lightly puncture the scalp, if you're drawing blood, the needle is going too deep

rob-
Definitely have light hairs coming in, can't ask for much more considering it has been just a little under 7 weeks. I will tell you that I started using the oil very shortly after I first noticed any thinning, so I'm not claiming it to be a wonder product, but it certainly seems to be helping.

Re: Front Hairline help
Hiya Mike,
I suggest needling in small clusters and leaving large gaps between the clusters - the reason being, that once some new hairs take hold, I've found that the chance of hairs appearing at the side is much higher.
So, from my experience, I have found that attempting to create growth sites a few inches from each other means I can concentrate my efforts, and as more growth sites produce results, the chance of hair growing in between rises significantly.
