Very flakey scalp.
Im not sure what ive been doing differently lately but my scalp has gotten very flakey. I usually see any signs of change on my scalp as a possible good thing. So maybe the flakes are a sign that something good is going on under the skin.
My hair quality doesnt seem to be any worse and my hairloss is fairly stable at the moment (nothing over bad).
Major things ive done lately....
Dropped fin 2 months ago after being on it for 4 years (maybe dht is coming back to the scalp) which i kind of want now as i realise dht is also needed for hair growth.
Ive been conciously smiling and keeping my eyes awake/alert non stop for the last week... (i beleive we bald in such a 'mpb' pattern due to frowning. And by frowning i mean stress/lack of sleep.) I use to subconsiously frown literally the whole day but have changed that around by knowing to smile when i frown. Sounds crazy buy seems to work. I also havent itched since i started this. (and i was itching a week ago after quitting fin.
Um ive added a few supplements but havent stuck to a regimen yet so i wouldnt say it was any supps as i really havent had that many.
Summer is also slowy kicking in here so maybe its that.
Anyway im getting alot of skin flakes. I had one bit peel off that was about 20mm by 10mm and its pretty much all over my hairline and back as far as i can see thru it.
I havent been burnt from the sun yet as its just started getting warm and i wear a hat when in the sun.
So my question is what could these flakes mean?

Re: Very flakey scalp.
Also i want to add that i beleive its the frowning motion that causes mpb.
well firstly i actually beleive its the problems related to heart disease/thryoid problems and dibetes/insulin problems but i think that all those togethor will put the hair in a very unhealthy state for survival so tecnically that could cause the hairloss but its the constant down frowning (from stress and lack of sleep) that will cause it to recede

Flakes is usually not a good sign. Dude, dont over do it with the smiling (smiling all the time), I heard of a study of japanese men who all had a smiling disorder, they had a fixed smile on their face all the time they couldnt get rid of it. It was a symptom of deep depression.
