Questions about DIM Empty Questions about DIM

Post  DesperateIntellect Tue Aug 18, 2009 7:01 am

Ok, after using finestride and encoutering sides, the same sides i might add to a Saw Palmetto etc. I believe that my sides are estrogen related. However i cannot after reading the IH website get my head around all the hormonal differences,

If i have high estrogen because of taking a DHT blocker what does this mean?

If i order DIM:

1. What will it do? Will it improve my testosterone ratio can someone just explain nto an idiot whats happening if Fin is spiking estrogen production, and what it means in terms of a proper route to be taken.

2. Taking on baord the holistic approach change in diet ordering 5 of the top 6 i still want to combat DHT, but maybe DHT isnt my problem maybe estrogen is, can estrogen be just as sevre as DHT,

3. Opinions on 7HMR as a good addition to IH6 ? Borage oil? or Flax

I apolgise in advance, I'm slowly getting my head round things

As a side note,

On my final try with fin, i did a shaving test...

normally i have to shave at least once a week, if i shave monday, i have a respectably good stubble a week later!

However on fin, i used the same time frame, shaved and one week later had just enough stubble to shave,

a remarkable decrease in Hair growth from DHT depend hairs, now although i was only on the posion for 2 months not long enough for scalp hair, this too me highlighted its significance within the body and the impact of fin.

Anyone else tried this

DesperateIntellect - The IH-6 once had 7-HMR, but was dropped in favor of Curcumin. For what it is worth, the regimen once had natural DHT blockers such as Beta-Sitosterol, but that was a few years ago.

DIM, inhibits DHT, inhibits MMP-9, and metabolizes estrogen to more favorable ratio of metabolites (more anti-carcinogenic and less carcinogenic). It will not however, combat the anxiety and depression that comes with finasteride use.

If you want to use a strong anti-DHT plan in your regimen, a topical is probably a better way to go.

DesperateIntellect - DIM is a good idea if you're not taking iodine, or you believe you have too much estrogen in your body. It's perfectly safe either way.

On 7-HMR, the best bang for the buck is at Swanson's. Anywhere else you're going to pay some serious money.

What´s the problem if you taking IODINE + DIM?
