take Maxi Hair by Country Life, its a bout 9 bucks a month and takes the place of about 5 or your supplements, the Biotin for sure,

also take a good chelated multi mineral instead of all the individual caps you are taking

You guys need to be a bit more independent instead of following like a Bible the recommended regimen of Immortal hair

By the way The Natural
Its not your board
who are you to tell me to drop anything? If you dont like my post, dont read it

Im simply telling the guys on the board they dont have to blindly follow THE REGIMEN, there are other alternatives

every other post i see guys following it to the letter as if its some heaven sent mandate from God, and thinking this is the solution to their hairloss problems

immortal hair I hope freely admits that no one regimen can help most people, everyone responds to different things

Marvey - Dutasteride is something you would want to avoid, since it is only going to increase anxiety. The problem with withdrawal is that the drugs half-life is exceedingly long, approximately 5-weeks.

I noticed you are not taking any vitamin D. If you get these levels up to the optimal range, approximately 70 ng/mL. Besides the potential hair benefits, an optimal level of vitamin D is effective against anxiety and depression.

Additionally, whether you decide to withdrawal from Dutasteride or not, Acetyl L-Carnitine (should be taken with Lipoic acid) will improve the mood and help compensate for some of the physical and mental drawbacks of the drug.

HanginInThere,

I have been on curcumin, resveratrol, (tocotrienols/tocopherols) combination longer than anyone else here, so I am not following anyone.

IH provides studies, information, as well as his own personal testimony (based upon years of experience in the medical field), so that posters may, after reading the material pertaining to a said supplement, make an informed decision.

The majority of posters here have known IH for years, and value his opinion, and have merely incorporated IH's top 3 or 6 into their existing regimen. So for you, a newbie at this forum, to refer to posters here as "sheep" is very condescending to them (the posters, not the sheep Wink ), but more importantly, disrespectful to the owner of this board, Immortal Hair.

If you cannot understand why this is OR feel that your DHT blocker regimen should be given more attention and respect than it does, perhaps you should think about starting your own forum.

And HanginInThere,

We have remained relatively cordial over these past months. I'd like to keep it that way. But don't try me, Hangin' (and you know exactly what I mean).

I informed you about Immortal Hair's site, because I thought that you wanted to learn about NEW treatments for hair loss. Perhaps I wrong.

I hope not.

Marvey - Yes, might as well skip the Acetyl L-Carnitine, most sites just charge too much for it. Sounds like you're okay on vitamin D if you get plenty of sun. I didn't notice before, but it doesn't appear as if you have any essential fatty acids.
Anything from Krill oil, salmon oil, fish oil, Chia seeds, or borage oil would be helpful. This is important to balance out prostaglandins.

yes 5000 mg Biotin might seem better but remember Maxi Hair is timed released 2000mg,. or mcg however they measure it

I would think the higher dosage beyond a certain point is excreted in the urine , unusable, since All excess B vitamins are water soluble

I did used to take about 20 different bottles of vitamins, separate almost for everything
It was expensive and a real pain to take

believe it or not I got better results at that time with Ultra Hair(which i consider better than Maxi Hair but its twice the price) than I did with 20 different bottles of Pills

I think it was because the Biotin was timed release, as opposed to me taking an equal or larger dose of separate Biotin alone. For some reason no matter how much Biotin I took separately, it did not stop my fallout , While the Ultra Hair pills did. Not sure perhaps they balance everything together in a very likeable manner which my body was very receptive to

Ultra Hair and Maxi Hair have both been around about 15 yrs at least, and you can only survive as a vitamin with repeat orders. If you are charging 20 dollars a bottle Like Ultra Hair does, If it does not do something VERY noticeable for customers hair, they will not re order it.

You cannot survive on first time orders, survival is based on repeat customer

I am just giving my experience with the vits and minerals

On any of the B vitamins such as Biotin, I dont believe above a certain amount, especially in one dose, is logical

It will just be excreted in your urine, the excess your body cannot use
so if you take 10,000 dose of Biotin per day, I do not think that is necessarily any better than the 2000mcg on the Maxi Hair
