Sanitising Bath Water? Empty Sanitising Bath Water?

Post  Columbo Wed Aug 05, 2015 9:30 pm

Missing my baths as concerned about laying in a pool of chemicals for a prolonged period. Is there anyway to make bathwater less nasty?

Specifically, fluoride but any other tips would be appreciated.

Sanitising Bath Water? Empty Re: Sanitising Bath Water?

Found some good tips on here http://wellnessmama.com/13181/reduce-bath-water-chemicals/ ...

1. Vitamin C will also neutralize Chloramine (chlorine and ammonia) which is also often used in treating water and which can be more dangerous than Chlorine. 1 tsp of Sodium Ascorbate a few mins before getting in the bath.

2. Bentonite clay mix 2 tablespoons of Bentonite Clay with water in a glass jar with a plastic lid and shake well. I then pour this in to the bath after the chlorine has been removed.

3. Epsom salts (for the mag / sulphate benefits)

Anything else?
