So what Im doing about 3-4 times a day is what people have called scalp scrunching. I do this alongside my normal routine of DT.
What I do with scalp scrunching is take both my hands, create a kind of bridge, and with my palms planted at base on my sides, I pull up my scalp creating a "scrunch". I either do stretch/release pulses or a full hold for 40-60 seconds, doing this at different areas of my scalp to help loosen things up.
My concern: Does anyone think this could somehow negatively effect my facial muscles in anyway, causing a facial drooping over time?

IMO, constantly stressing your collagen/elastin fibers without enough nutritional support or adequate rest could potentially have long-term consequences.
While I no longer use manuals (they are too time-consuming) I cover all my bases with adequate: bone broth, hydrolyzed collagen, glycine/lysine/proline, silica, K2 and topical tretinoin/tazarotene. In fact, I have found either used 5-7x a week way more helpful than manuals could ever be. Sad how forgotten topical A has become in the hair loss community.

Well its mainly the scalp that is scrunching. The effect on the facial skin is minor, only secondary to where I place my palms on the sides of my head.
As far as what you're saying, wouldn't breakdown of collagen/elastin be from long term vigorous massage of the actual facial skin? Do you think a secondary effect from scalp stretching could really cause a breakdown of those things? I mean I eat pretty well, I take MSM everyday, VitD/K2, 2 grams vit C, whole food multi vit, moisturize my skin semi-often with organic based lotions, R-lipoic-Acid, etc.
And worse case scenario on what youre saying, are you referring to actual drooping or just like premature wrinkles? Because I was under the impression drooping is caused from the facial muscles themselves holding the skin up, so damage would have to be done to the muscles which I dont think Im doing at all.
Any further feedback greatly appreciated!
