Astaxanthin as an extremely potent antioxidant.
Just to dispel and counter some of the things lately written on this forum... using basic common sense. Remember not to place all your antioxidants into one basket and continue consuming vitamin C, CoQ10, green tea etc. as well.

interesting.
I think it can help health and certain aspects.
but it cannot help hair in general, directly or indirectly

That's a pretty absolutic statement, can you narrow it down?
"I think it can help health and certain aspects." If it can do that, then it can absolutely help hair.
"but it cannot help hair in general, directly or indirectly", I think it could, based on some biochemical models and very few clinical trials. For example, the skin benefits one and a role in stabilizing blood sugar, I'm sure there are many more things it can achieve but as always, it's bioindividual. Nevertheless how did you come up with such absolute statements?

it's debatable
it certainly isn't in my top 6
or anyone's top 6 to be honest
I think Mike Adams of naturalnews has it as his number 2 supplement though
