Man-buns (tying hair up) accelerate hair-loss?
I want to grow my hair long enough so I can tie it up and man bun it (if you don't know what I mean google man bun).
I'm only very slightly and slowly receding, but i'm worried the traction might accelerate some hair loss.
Is there any evidence to support this myth that tying your hair up, speeds up hair loss

Anecdotally, I haven't noticed any problems with a ponytail or buns.I have shoulder length hair and have to tie it up most of the time.
