I have a theory relating body hair to hair loss, if I could survey the forum please?
My theory- the distribution of body hair over the body (not necessarily the thickness) can indicate future hairloss. I have observed that men whose body hair seems restrict itself to certain areas and taper are less likely to lose hair than men whose body hair is all over the place.
So look at your entire arm, is your hair thickest at the hand and wrist (I've never seen someone with this pattern go further than an nw2). Or is it a general thickness, does it stop at the elbow or reach further to your shoulder. Describe your arm hair distribution and state you age and Norwood pattern if you would
I'll start age 21- arm hair is spacious and covers entire arm, alot less hair at the shoulder, but thick above the elbow. Thickest on the inside of the forearm. NW1.5 (thinning to a 2)

Hair is same thickness from wrist to elbow, after that hair is sparse but the hairs that do grow, grow real long, real fast for some reason. I have very hairy legs but zero hair on my back. NW1.5 -> NW3.5 in ten months.
Also prior to fin, could grow a beard in 2-3 days.

That's rough bro, 1.5-almost a 4 in 10months. In addition you got sides from fin. My sympathies. How old are you btw.

Turned 24 a couple days ago, and yeah my life won't ever be the same but, at least I don't have a terminal disease or anything like that. In regards to your theory, I think those who have follicles sensitive to DHT, and also have rapidly growing, or bodyhair that covers more areas than most, likely have larger DHT levels and are bound to lose hair quicker. I'm not as science-minded as some on this forum though so that is just a shot in the dark.

3 pillars i am doing now to a pfs recovery:
1. no carbs, think vegetables (not potatoes or rice, leafy greens mostly, no fruit and protein like chicken, beef, fish) (however, i think eggshell calcium may be beneficial)
2. no fap/no porn (very important, all "crashes" happen after fapping sessions. who knows why? PFS may be extreme version of PMO ED as it mimics many of the symptoms, outside of the exerice one below.)
3. no exercise (gives me a boost that day, then kills me for the next few days, why? not sure, people say androgen receptors at propeciahelp, i'm not sure what the root cause is, this one is tricky and could hold the secret for why we have pfs)
give it 15-30 days, you'll start having some action down there. however, i don't know how to keep it permanent, or if continuing to do this will eventually make it permanent. i'm praying though. there's been 2 or 3 recoveries all ready for treating "parasites", which essentially what they are doing is no carb diet. i think insulin and dopamine play a large role with PFS, which is why the above works. fin pumps dopamine into your body and it pumps a shit load of testosterone into your body. these for someone in their early 20s is a recipe for diaster when you get off it and levels go back to normal. coupled with the PFS x factor, who knows what happened.
with nofap, many of the "fungus" side effects disappear if you have that. something with hormones and too much insulin makes it get out of control

@Sanderson, thank you for your desire to help me, but I've only been on fin for probably a week. Sorry for the misunderstanding, by prior to fin I meant recent changes, and that I'm still on the drug to this day. I do not have pfs and I hope to never have to follow the advice you've outlined, my reasons for taking the drug are a mpb-induced madness. I won't get into it here as I try to sound normal-ish on these forums but the 'me' ten months ago, would not recognize the 'me' today.
So far these are my fin sides, and I will list both bad and good:
- Facial hair takes longer to come in
- Clearer complexion
- Highly emotional(especially first two days, came close to tears for no reason)
- Increased libido, and easier time getting erections. Something tells me this side is going to go in reverse sometime down the road considering most reports are the opposite
- Intermittent tightness/pain in testicles

(Sorry If my English is bad)
I'm convinced that body hair growth goes along hair loss, because when I notice that my hair start thinning when I neglect my Paleo diet for too long or I don't get enough sleep/exercise/sun exposure, I also notice that parts of my body that were hairless before (Chest, shoulders) now have small body hair that gets darker and longer over time.
I guess body hair presence in modern humans is due to hormonal imbalance caused by our modern diet based on refined foods and our sedentary lifestyle.

Its interesting.
I wonder how hairy womens armpit and leg hair would be, left ungroomed like most mens.?
I do notice men 35+ with very dense facial hair and "red" skin, almost look like high blood pressure, almost always bald/ing.
