BB Brushing + DT: Too much? Empty BB Brushing + DT: Too much?

Im going to start DT soon, 20x 2/day. Ive been brushing for awhile now as well and want to be able to combine it.

I brush for about 3-5 minutes rather intensely after saturating my scalp in olive oil. It is per Mukunda M's protocol on yahoo. He has gotten regrowth as well as others that have followed it.

My question, would doing both be counterproductive and too much for my scalp?

nope that combination is very good. first you break the skin then you stimulate it on a finer level, keep it up.

i just wouldn't soak my scalp in olive oil though.

Why? It definitely provides more stimulation and it worked for that guy mukunda. Also olive is good for scalp/hair health no?

well this is just my opinion but i think usually it's best to keep things in their natural state. drenching your scalp in olive oil or also using shampoos you alter and destroy the natural flora of your scalp which is the custom made best topical for you exclusively because it's made by your body for your body.
also your scalp will get used to having to produce less of its own oils, pores will get clogged, it will dry out once you stop oil topicals etc. i know a lot of people won't understand but this is my philosophy.

Emu oil+Castor oil once or twice a week doesn't hurt.

I Leave the olive oil in for about an hour.

You really think this would be hurting my scalp? I havent felt any negative effects thus far.. It just like people who use moisturizer (good organic ones) daily on their skin. You think that hurts their skin health?

**And I dont really **drench** it, just get it covered, brush, leave on for an hour, and then wash off.

Immortal, anyone else, could you chime in on whether this would be ok?

as complex said, i don't think it will hurt if you do it once in a while (but won't help a lot either), but in my opinion daily is too much. if it's done too often you train your body to balance its skin flora around the applied topical.
