Lack of energy, brain fog... Empty Lack of energy, brain fog...

I am now 32. I don't know if it's the fact that in the past I used to have 12 espressos a day and now I stop at many less, or the fact that I got older, but I feel like I'm always fatigued lately and my brain cannot focus and is often fogged. I was thinking that maybe I need to get my B12 serum levels checked. Anything else?

You might try boosting your adrenals. Glandulars and supplments. Caffeine and other stimulants can wear them out.

Also take a look at boosting your methylation cycle.

I'm a huge fan of methylB12 (crucial to methylation cycle) so definitely start off with that.

Might get your ferritin levels checked, too, if you haven't in a while. Low iron can cause fatigue, and a lot of coffee interferes with iron absorption.

Good luck!

Misirilou, I'm taking about 2mg/injectable per day.  Don't really know what that works out to in sublingual.

Country Life methylcobalamin 5000 mcg product #6304 and Enzymatic Therapy methylcobalamin 1000mcg are reputed to be the most effective sublingual brands currently on the market.

Also worth noting is I get a big boost from adenosylcobalamin (aka adB12, just another type of B12).  Anabol Naturals Dibencozide is the best brand for that.  adB12 doesn't get talked about much, but it has a lot of value, especially for energy.
