How to use brisle boar brush?
Hey.
I've just bought a bristle boar brush and I'm wondering:
is there any special brushing technique while using this kind of brush?
Does anybody have any experience with a bristle boar brush?

Re: How to use brisle boar brush?
well, i don't think there is a tried and true way, just make sure you stimulate the scalp. my routine includes inversion table for 5 to 10 minutes, immediately after showering, scrubbing my scalp hard (while inverted), front to back, side to side, diagonally, etc. Also, i don't use a regular comb anymore, strictly the brush, and every time i "comb" my hair; not often, typically just one other time per day in the evening, i count at least 100 strokes, all against the scalp, front to back.
btw, i'm a diffuse thinner with no frontal or temporal recession. no regrowth, that i can see anyway, but no progression either and hair feels thicker than a year ago.

How do you do this if you have hair already? the brush would hit my hair not my scalp.

I use the technique showed until 1:30:

Then I just keep my head down for 2-3 minutes.
It's good to choose a natural, wooden brush with a hard bristle, so that you not only softly brush your hair, but also massage your scalp. That was the advice given by people, who make brushes with natural bristles. Unless you have something like scars or other sensitive areas on your head - go for the hard one. The lady, that I was talking with, said that she brushes her 3 years old daughter with a such hard brush and she is astonished by the amount of new hair popping up on the head of the child.
I've been using a bristle boar brush for just a one week and I have to say that it works great. Hair looks better and the massage is enjoyable itself. You'll probably see many hair on your brush for the first few times, but it'll normalize.
However, I'd say that a bristle boar brush is just a very good addition to my regimen, but not the basis.
