I have long hair now, below my shoulders. The hairline hasn't been receding any more for over a couple of years, despite I quit all of my regimen.

I would like to fill my temples back in with a FUE surgery, but I wouldn't like to go back to short hair before the surgery. Is it much more expensive/complicated to do FUE with long hair?

Also: any recommendation for a surgeon that does FUE? In NorCal, possibly?

Go to hairtransplantnetwork for a recommendation. If you ask me, you need to travel to be sure you go to the best. I went with a local guy a few years ago and have paid the price ever since. I will be having a second procedure this summer and am flying out of state to go to one of the top 5 in the world. Don't F around unless you are willing to risk some MAJOR regret.
