Essential Oils for scalp

Hi, can anyone recommend essential oils which are really good for calming an inflamed, itchy scalp?

10%rosemary,25% lavender rest is blackseed oil...very helpful and works instantly...scap inflammation is more associated with mineral balance in ur body, do blood work...

I find the menthol from peppermint oil really soothing when I get a flare up of seborrheic dermatitis/pityriasis amiantacea on my scalp, I use it in the form of Dr Bronner's peppermint soap and rinse with apple cider vinegar.

Also I second the suggestion to get minerals tested. I have (borderline) pyroluria so I'm prone to low zinc which is probably why I got seborrheic dermatitis in the first place. I also found that taking selenium with sulforaphane got rid of my scalp itch in a few days. I had recently stopped taking all supplements which is probably why it came back after a year and a half of being scale free.

If you can..get spearmint essential oil diluted to 2% with some other kind of oil used safely for the skin.

But be warned..spearmint essential oil may cause gyno/man boobs after a while.

there was a video posted on here recently do a search perhaps that contains video of a male who got regrowth from an Essential Oil topical homemade that included evco, castor, emu etc etc.

Will be doing this same protocol once finances allow.
